A view on the Political Scene

With the current situation of our country, every thing is hanging in balance. The future as we know, is in our hands. We as citizens of our country should be aware of what is happening.  It is good to see that we as youths are able to understand what is right and what is wrong.

About AAP I would like to share my opinion. They have a good understanding of what we as individuals stand by, and that there is "no toleration to corruption," which this country needs, all the political parties in India who comes to power should fight against, but the fight against corruption cannot happen over night. AAP tried to do the needful in Delhi but they just gave it up because at the end of the day they are as selfish as any other political party. They are power hungry, they could have taken up the role of running Delhi without corruption and proven themselves but ran away. Now they are running for Lok Sabha elections, which I feel is a clear indication of being power hungry. They should have started fighting corruption at the lowest level and then worked their way to the top.

Our government, whomsoever it may be, should be able to provide economic stability and improve the infrastructure of the provinces. With these two things in place, we as citizens of India, will get security in every way possible, where our police can provide security without having to deal with issues of lack of funds and infrastructure. Roads can be made better, citizens can be safer, women can get out of there houses without the fear of being assaulted or being subjected to the worst possible inhuman acts of sexual harassment that they can come across. Our defence can be made strong to be able to deterrent the Indian subcontinent where no one can take us for granted and have a solid policy against terrorism and threat of being overrun by foreign forces. We as citizens should be asking our Government what is happening, but the most important thing, is like John F Kennedy once asked the citizens of the United States, "Ask not what the country did for you, ask what you have done for the country."

We can start by electing the government that we want. I would like to say that over the last 10 years, while India was proving to be a super power, we lost our way. We should blame ourselves for running us down towards high inflation and every other problems that we face today. We have to vote for our leaders and we have to make sure we choose our leaders to take our country to were we want it to go. Security for our women population, economic stability, security within the country and from foreign countries, development of our infrastructure, education, health care and then finally no corruption. This is what I would like our fellow citizens to keep in mind before we elect for our nations leaders.
