GYM 2014: Delegates spread awareness on VBD in Imphal

In a bid to aware the masses for voluntary blood donation (VBD), delegates from different part of the world conducted a mass rally in Imphal on 22^nd February as a part of the ongoing Global Youth Meets 2014 India.

With the theme of promoting young blood donors and looking beyond disaster, a six-day global conference for youth - “Global Youth Meets 2014” kickstarted on 20^th February at MFDC, Palace Compound, Imphal. Organised by The Club25 International Manipur, the event will continue till 25th February 2014. More than 300 foreign delegates from 51 countries are attending the Meet.

The Global Youth Meets 2014, brings together young delegates from all over the world to exchange views, share experiences on different issues like VBD, disaster, environment, health, reflect together and, above all, detect common preoccupations and to develop realistic action plans to rebuild communities that meet the needs and aspirations of young people. The event allows young people to voice their ideas and concerns and make suggestions directly.
