What Youth want from India’s next PM #Modi

Few hours later, India will witness its new Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi, former Chief Minister of Gujarat. By the time you read this article, the new Government will be formed. Expectations are running high from this new government by the new party coming to the throne after 10 monotonous years of the Congress-led UPA rule. Since the day of the BJP-led NDA’s landslide victory in the General Elections 2014, not only Sensex but also the hopes and expectations of the common people, especially the youth of the nation have been touching the sky. So, what really youth of this nation want from India’s new Prime Minister?

It’s a known fact that today’s youth live a fast life wherein they want each and everything thing in a short span of time. Be it development or soaring stock market, they can’t wait for long. So, it’s fast development, Sensex breaking all the records, quick employment, rapid action on crimes, world-class educational facilities, booming economy, international lifestyle and what not! They just want everything and with this new government coming to the throne, youth’s hopes to get what they want might come to reality as Mr. Modi is a pro-development politician.

“I want a better package, better lifestyle, better roads, better protection from all forms of crimes and of course, fast development of India to happen soon from this newly-elected government,” quipped Ritu Sharma, an MNC employee.

Echoing similar thoughts, Gabriel, a student from Manipur, said: “International educational facilities, more job opportunities, emphasis on development of the Northeast India, stricter action on racial discrimination,  among many others are what I want and expect from the new government. And I hope Modi will surely make this happen.”

So, the basic things that youth really want from the #Modi  government are as follows:

·         Youth development
·         Booming economy
·         Stop racism/ racial discrimination
·         Women protection
·         Better employment
·         Emphasis on all-round development
·         Gender sensitivity
·         Better educational facilities
·         Quicker action on tackling crimes and terrorism
·         Better connectivity in terms of roads, transports etc.

Well, let’s hope for the best and wait for a new developed India. We hope #PMModi is listening to the cries of youth of the nation.
