As a part of the ongoing Global Youth Meets India 2014, young delegates on 23rd
February visited the Loktak Lake-the only floating lake in the world, the
famous heritage Kangla Fort and Leikoipat, a soothing lake.
Delegates were informed about the rich cultural heritage and history of
the Kangla Fort and the significance of
Loktak Lake in people’s lives in Manipur. They relished their lunch at the
scenic and soothing Leikoipat.
They enjoyed the sightseeing and were amazed to witness such a beauty. “Wow!
It’s so amazing to see this natural beauty. Manipur is a lovely place. I would
love to come back here soon,” exclaimed Stephanie when asked if she was liking
the Loktak Lake view and others.
The Global Youth Meets 2014, brings together young delegates from all
