Need for Speed

Need for Speed fits onto the perfect recipe for a great movie with the fans from the video game as well as an exciting story line as seen in the trailer.  Many of us were left to think that director Scott Waugh will put forward an amazing movie experience and set a standard for video game turned movies however after the release, the crowd gave a mixed review for it.

Jose Perez says “I loved the movie. For a racing car lover such as myself, the film served the purpose of projecting beautiful machines which were never seen in any other movie before. Even the Fast and Furious series did not count a little in front of the showcased engines in Need for Speed.” Fans who loved speed and car-bling reacted with positive vibes.

"Need For Speed delivers funny yet awesome and intense car chase to keep petrolheads excited. With its crashes, chases, jumps and gas-guzzling acts, the movie is a throwback to car classics seen in other movies in the past. But it was all delivered in a very smooth, modern style, so its okey! Should have put in a little bit of originality" according to Shaneet Stewart.

Other fans should not expect a lot from actor Aaron Paul, who is barely his talented self in this movie in comparison to Breaking Bad. “He was absolutely gifted in Breaking Bad and the role did project his talent in that movie, but it's hard to comment after watching this car-racing movie inspired by the Need for Speed video games. Viewers purely interested in racing and cars won't be disappointed..  the cars are actually sexier than the cast but you know; some people do look for a story and/or performance, which I feel this movie lacks" quoted Romit Sheth at the end of the movie.

To be precise, this flick is purely for fans of stunts and cars. If you want just a little more, you will have to look backwards to other epic car-racing movies or forward to other releases in the future. This movie definitely did not meet expectations for most of the fans. A better story and projection of Aaron’s strengths as an actor will have served much better.
