It had been just a few days since the young lady had set foot on Delhi soil after her visit to Goa on business grounds. After she had picked up her belongings from a friend's place and dropping it at her place, in Vasant Kunj, she was on her way to meet her friends at Green Park, when she meet the auto-driver. She was taken to a deserted place in Vasant Kunj, where she asked the auto-driver if that was the way to her destination that night and he said yes. Sensing the will of the auto-driver, she offered money and other belongings so that she can get away from the dangerous scene however he had to say only one thing, "I want chummaaa!!" After a series of struggle and fight with the man, she ran for life and found a young male student in an auto who dropped her to Green Park at her friend's place.
According to police officers, The woman, however, resisted the accused and managed to escape from the spot. “She raised an alarm and jumped out of the auto. The driver followed her but she managed to fight him off by throwing bricks at him,” said a police officer.
“She was rushed to Safdarjung Hospital and a case of molestation was registered at Vasant Kunj police station,” the officer said.
Few hours later, the auto-driver was caught by the police using the tracking system on her iPhone. After the incident, she had to say, " I never thought this would happen to me. I was just talking with a friend that night about how the crime rates have increased in Delhi and the same night I was a victim!! I was so scared however now I have learnt a lesson!!"
Folks, can we Still believe in our Govt that gives us "false" hopes to protect our women?? Or the upcoming government can protect our women?? Well, I guess only God can save us!!!
