The second day of Manfete 2014 was an amazing screen as it was packed with competitions on and off stage with extraordinary performances by guest artists at the Centenary Hall, Manipur University. Today, Manfete was all about quizes, skit, spot painting, essay, and the much awaited Manhunt rivalry. Not to forget the ear pleading performances by Maniac and The Wishess.
Day two, Manfete 2014 started off with quiz competitions in categories differentiated between schools and colleges. At the college level, E. Robert Mangte, M. Vipler and M. Boby of DM College of Arts won the contest while RK Sanatomba, Ajit and Th. Swarshima of MU PG class won second runners up. Maria Montessori School comprising Meirangamba Oinam, Jimmy Laishram and Albert Nameirakpam won the quiz competition at the school level. The skit entitled ‘Zom Interview’ performed by the artiste of young Talented Artiste Union won the skit play competition.
For the Manhunt competition, it was Kshetrimayum Gyanjit, Contestant no.13 who layed down grounds and won the Mr. Manhunt 2014 title after much anticipation. He was also awarded the official Brand Ambassador for YSN. Suvrata Elangbam took the title of Mr Social Media for Manhunt 2014.
Maniac, the all girls band from Manipur stunned the crowd with their version of "Leaving on a jet plane" during the event. The Wishess, as known for their jam-packed metal performances, surprised us today with their unplugged versions, yet another speechless spot for the crowd and a blowing cheer at the end of the performance.
All in all, an amazing second day put forward by the organizers of Manfete 2014, setting expectations and interest counts to the maximum.
